NO MORE HANDLABOUR IN FREEZENING CONDITIONS
The SVC Vine Catcher Cane Eater for vineyard remove automatically the branches in Guyot vineyard after the hand pruning with special care on the metal wires. It highly reduces the hand labour, very expensive in terms of time during the winter season.
Built in collaboration with the German company Hess Landmaschinen, the machine consists of a central frame to which the shredding head is connected. This consists of an auger that lifts the shoots, previously cut, towards the two rubber wheels and the chopping machine that chops them, letting the residues fall to the ground. The machine can also be fitted with the automatic opening system "sensing" on the pole.
To be catch the branches need to be 25cm higher than the top wire so summer trimming is crucial.
The main advantage of the SVC over other similar machines is the low load on the wire ropes.
