100-jahre-rinieri-mit-agro

In 2020 the Rinieri company celebrated 100 years since its foundation, an important milestone that was not properly celebrated with the pandemic. This is why we wanted to leave a mark, a tribute to our first 100 years, with the large work AGRO on the wall of the new warehouse.

The idea came about somewhat by chance, looking at the large murals on the walls of the city, we imagined filling the large wall of the shed with something unique that could represent our roots and our future. So we called the social promotion association "Romagna in Fiore", which is very active in the area.

Born in 2007 out of the passion and needs of a group of writers from Romagna, active in the Italian urban art scene since the early 90s, it was created with the aim of spreading and promoting the discipline of writing as an artistic form, putting it at the service of the community for redevelopment and training, making it accessible also to the general public.

Romagna in Fiore conceives its activity as a powerful tool for the requalification and enhancement of urban environments and brings together artists with a passion for writing and street art, facilitating dialogue with institutions. The Association implements its objectives by means of mural works, impromptu performances and installations, consultancy and organisation of events, organisation of courses and meetings to introduce teenagers to the discipline (a very important objective is the reduction of damage through dialogue with very young people who approach the discipline in an autonomous and naive manner). It actively cooperates with municipal administrations, other non-profit associations, neighbourhood associations and youth centres.

From Francesco "Noneim" Ricci Lucchi, APS Romagna in Fiore, the direct account of our great work.

100 anni di Rinieri con AGRO

"On the imposing wall of the new production space of Rinieri s.r.l. we have created a grandiose mural painting, which tells the story, values and visions of the family that has been running the company of the same name for a century.

The work is defined by several integrated reading levels, created with different painting techniques and superimposed on the iridescent grey of the cement background. The layered composition is the result of a shared conceptual phase. An elegant full-height (ten metres) vertical header, red bordered in black, welcomes those entering the main square. The sinuous rural landscape of Romagna is created as a graphic background for the large inscription and unrolls in two parts, above the portal and the secondary openings of the façade. It depicts the foothills of Forlì, identifiable by the most famous villages in the area, behind the shed itself. Bertinoro and Rocca delle Camminate. Terra del Sole and Monte Poggiolo, to name but a few. The landscape, descriptive yet painterly, is composed of minimal spray strokes on long green and yellow rolls and overhung by large white clouds in perspective, produced with a spray gun.

Rising at the centre of the horizon is the ray of light crowning the broad golden spiral, the structure underlying many forms of life and an artistic archetype. Three points are represented on the spiral as circles of dark clods: its origin, a walnut bud and a vine cutting.

This sign takes up the entire lower central part of the wall and symbolises the cultural evolution that nature has given us, through agriculture. On the ground, in the foreground, are two hyper-realistic reproductions. On the left is an ancient sepia-toned image of the first Rinieri plough, pulled by a pair of oxen. In the other corner, the last model built, photographed in the vineyard. Again the calligraphy, always in red cursive, alternating with the figurative, covers the entire view.

Roots, Tradition, Family and Work. Continuity, Technology, Excellence and Innovation.
