The machine, built in 2 models, has a sturdy frame with support skids or wheels that is connected to the rear of the tractor by a cat 1-2 three-point hitch and a cardan shaft. The mower head has 40 knives and measures 120 cm and is equipped with hydraulic tilting, allowing perfect adaptation to working conditions and to adapt to uneven terrain or bumps / berms, and a rear support wheel to stabilise the inter-row work head. The return of the shredder head is operated by an adjustable sensor rod.

The FT inter-row shredder has been designed to meet the great demand for equipment for cleaning weeds and small prunings under plants, for the maintenance and care of fruit trees and vineyards, especially for those who choose organic farming and want to abandon chemical weeding.

The shredded material, after the new FT shredder has been passed over, is left close to the plants along the row with an excellent mulching function and a return of organic substance to the soil.

Compared to the use of a classic shredder , the new FT inter-row shredder allows you to work without problems under trees with very low branches thanks to the height of only 30 cm of the header and the displacement from the centre of the tractor is 245 and 265 cm, thus moving about 150 cm out of the tractor's outline.
On the same frame as the FT inter-row flail mower, the 70 or 85 cm FS tiller head can be optionally mounted, so that it is also possible to work the soil and carry out two jobs with the same machine.
